WHY

The seed was planted by mother and mother-in-law Marian Jansen who specialised in natural dyeing, felting and eco-printing. Kasper was brought up on this from home and Jolinde was later taught the tricks of the trade. Both gripped by the magic and craft process, we decided to continue Marian's legacy and give it our own twist.

Besides, we live in a society where, over the past 50 years, it has mainly been about producing as many products as possible as quickly as possible which then resulted in a disruption of the earth. Therefore, returning to the personal, old traditional and locally produced is what studio WOUW has in mind.
